The Behavioral Health Resource Network (BHRN) of Lane County operates a statewide hotline for 24/7 access to substance use treatment, harm reduction, and recovery (800-422-2595). Burrito Brigade Volunteering
Burrito Brigade helps to address food insecurity for unhoused, undocumented, unemployed, and impoverished Eugene residents. Volunteers help to stock pantries, and prepare and distribute burritos every Saturday and Sunday at various locations. Sign up to volunteer here.

Volunteering at United Way
United Way of Lane County offers many events where volunteers can help out nonprofits in the community, including environmental, gardening, housing, mental health, nutrition, and pet adoption agencies. City of Eugene survey

Volunteer with elders in Cottage Grove and Creswell

Community Supported Services provides micro shelters for unhoused persons within a supportive group environment, protects human rights, and strives to address the current lack of housing. School Garden Project
The School Garden Project of Lane County assists schools with developing and maintaining onsite vegetable gardens where children can learn the basics of growing healthy food and become stewards of nature. Bikes donated to kids
The nonprofit Free Bikes for Kids provides bicycles to kids most in need, in order to foster a happier childhood. Annual Ornament Hunt through 12/25
The Annual Ornament Hunt is happening across the Willamette and Umpqua National Forests between November 15th and December 25th, Two hundred locally-crafted wooden ornaments will be hidden along two dozen trails in both forests, where eagle-eyed hikers can find them and register to win a two-night getaway in the Willamette Valley.
