The Behavioral Health Resource Network (BHRN) of Lane County operates a statewide hotline for 24/7 access to substance use treatment, harm reduction, and recovery (800-422-2595). Burrito Brigade Volunteering
Burrito Brigade helps to address food insecurity for unhoused, undocumented, unemployed, and impoverished Eugene residents. Volunteers help to stock pantries, and prepare and distribute burritos every Saturday and Sunday at various locations. Sign up to volunteer here.

Volunteering at United Way
United Way of Lane County offers many events where volunteers can help out nonprofits in the community, including environmental, gardening, housing, mental health, nutrition, and pet adoption agencies. Volunteer with elders in Cottage Grove and Creswell

Community Supported Services provides micro shelters for unhoused persons within a supportive group environment, protects human rights, and strives to address the current lack of housing. The School Garden Project of Lane County assists schools with developing and maintaining onsite vegetable gardens where children can learn the basics of growing healthy food and become stewards of nature.
