As we are all navigating through the changes that have happened over the last few weeks, I wanted to thank you for your continued support and to let you know how KRVM is also navigating through the changes.
Each day, we’re looking at new ways to continue to provide you the music you appreciate and need during these stressful times. We are able to continue a “live” presence on-air during the weekday with Paul, Adam and Stu providing a great selection of music, community information and local weather updates.
For our live, specialty shows, our volunteer DJs are doing their part by staying home and staying safe. Some of them are learning new ways to record at home, sometimes creating makeshift audio studios in a closet or under a blanket at their table. They are learning audio editing and uploading their shows into “clouds” so that we can reach into those “clouds” and put their shows on the air.
Your support and calls have been uplifting. Without our members, we could not continue to “Keep Real Variety in Music”. Many of our business members have had to close their businesses temporarily and our hearts go out to each and every one of them as they try to stay afloat. If you have the ability to support the businesses safely, please do so. We are a community that thrives off of the success of each other and we will do our best to continue to support this amazing community.
If you have the ability to donate to KRVM, please do so by going online or give us a call at 541-790-5786.
We hope that we can continue to bring you peace, joy and entertainment during some pretty tough times. Though we can’t connect with you in the way that we normally do, we hope to continue to “bring us all together as we stay apart”.
Stay safe and stay healthy.
