KRVM has long known that the businesses that help underwrite our programming are very special. They are engaged in the community, they know that there is more to business than just showing up and opening the doors each day.
Two of KRVM’s business underwriters received special recognition recently from the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce at the Chamber’s 69th Annual Awards and Installation Banquet.
Chambers Construction was presented the “2018 Pillar of the Community” award. The award is given to a business or organization that has made a long-standing impact on the community. It is a company that has had significant impact on employment, innovation, stability and contributes to the community beyond their core business.
PublicHouse was presented the “2018 Business of the Year” award. This award is given to a business that has had an exceptional year based upon an expansion, opening, or a turnaround story. The Business of the Year has, and continues to make, a community wide impact.
