Many thanks to the listeners that have called and said “thank you” for providing music 24/7 and community information during the COVID 19 virus situation. We are operating with limited staff and asking the volunteer DJs to stay home to help “flatten the curve”. In addition, with the students learning through on-line education, the radio broadcasting program is on hold until they return. Though we miss their presence at the station, we know it’s for the benefit of our volunteers, students, staff and the community to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Many of our volunteer DJs have been able to produce their shows, or provide music for their shows, by dropping off thumb drives or uploading files into cloud software for staff to download and insert into the automation system. As more DJs learn this new process, we hope to resume regular programming as much as possible.
