KRVM and many others in our community are mourning the loss of Rome Hamel. He was a longtime volunteer DJ and supporter of the station. Rome hosted the Rock’n Rome show since the early 90’s until last year. Rome is remembered for his infectious laugh, positive energy and his “Corny Pick of the Week”. He loved his family, friends, music, classic cars and hot rods, comedy and more.
Rome will be greatly missed and our thoughts go out to his family.
