There is an ongoing severe blood shortage, and healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help people counting on lifesaving blood. For more information or to make an appointment […] The Art Center in Corvallis hosts a free drop-in afternoon of art making from 1 to 4 pm on the second Saturday of each month. All supplies are provided, and all ages and experience levels are welcome. Different themes or techniques are featured each month. More information and instructions HERE. GRASP provides assistance and support for individuals who have experienced the loss of someone they care about, as a result of substance use. GRASP meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 1685 West 13th Avenue in Eugene. For more information, call 541-654-7733. Lane County Master Gardeners, a part of the OSU Extension Service, are holding gardening classes through November 1st. Topics include pruning, composting, and growing, herbs, flowers, and vegetables. The Springfield Public Library is sponsoring a Wednesday morning series of free cultural events through August 13th.
