The Art Center in Corvallis hosts a free drop-in afternoon of art making from 1 to 4 pm on the second Saturday of each month. More information HERE. Next Step Recycling is a Eugene nonprofit providing technology skills training to those with barriers to employment. When you donate electronic and technological equipment to Next Step, they repair the items and put them back into use in the community, reducing waste while providing employment opportunities. More information HERE. The Oregon Department of Justice, or DOJ, is tracking hate and bias crimes and incidents, which can be verbal, physical, or visual. A Family for Every Child is a Eugene nonprofit focused on facilitating permanent adoptions for children currently in foster care, and on reconnecting children with their family members.
