LGBTQ success in schools
The Oregon Department of Education implemented a Success Plan in 2021 to address education barriers for learners who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, queer, questioning, Two Spirit, intersex, asexual, and nonbinary. The plan establishes a framework for creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming schools. More information HERE.
Support for substance use loss
Eugene Eugene, Oregon, United StatesGRASP provides assistance and support for individuals who have experienced the loss of someone they care about, as a result of substance use. GRASP meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 1685 West 13th Avenue in Eugene. For more information, call 541-654-7733.

Master Gardener classes
Lane County Master Gardeners, a part of the OSU Extension Service, are holding gardening classes through November 1st. Topics include pruning, composting, and growing, herbs, flowers, and vegetables.
