Multi-cultural Enrichment through 8/22
The nonprofit HONEY is offering a Multi-Culture Enrichment Academy on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from June 23rd to August 22nd for elementary, middle, and high school youth and teens. Activities will be separated by age group.
HONEY stands for “Honoring Our New Ethnic Youth,” and these sessions are primarily for those who identify as multi-racial or ethnically-diverse, yet everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Participants can learn about African drumming and dance, cooking, gardening, typing, bike-riding, and self-defense. They can sing in a choir, create art, go on nature excursions, and explore mindfulness tools.
