Eugene Springfield Youth Orchestra Concert 4/3/25

A FREE Symphonic Outreach Concert for Springfield Schoolchildren
ESYO has been inspiring our community with free outreach concerts for more than 60 years!At 9:30 am on Thursday April 3, the Junior Orchestra will perform for 700 3rd grade elementary school students at the Springfield High School auditorium. Our Junior Orchestra is a group of accomplished musicians in middle and high school, representing many different schools across Lane County. In past concerts, their high-spirited, always enthusiastic conductor Christopher Noel has had them play several styles of music ranging from Star Wars and Harry Potter to Brahms. He will take a moment to introduce the various families of instruments by separating them out from the orchestra. And he encourages group participation through singing and by identifying musical themes.
