“Dusky Blues” is the winner of the 2019 Rainy Day Blues Challenge!
Bill Spiry “Blind Billy Blue” & Jerry Leff “Natty O” from Dusky Blues will represent the Rainy Day Blues Society and Lane County Blues musicians, in Memphis, Tennessee at the International Blues Challenge in January, 2020. Natty O is the KRVM “Breakfast with the Blues” host on Monday mornings.
The Rainy Day Blues Society is a Eugene-based nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting blues music as part of cultural heritage and tradition. Their mission is to raise public awareness and nurture a love and appreciation for one of America’s foundational music forms through education and by fostering an environment in which local blues artists can grow and flourish.
