4J Thank-you notes
The Eugene Education Foundation, a nonprofit supporting the 4J School District, is promoting a community-wide campaign to have students, families, and community members write letters of gratitude to 4J staff. This “Thank-a-Thon” to recognize influential educational professionals will generate $150 for every personalized note received by a school employee. Letters can be written to a teacher, coach, counselor, bus driver, cafeteria server, maintenance worker, or anyone who has made a positive impact.
A gratitude gathering event will take place on Tuesday, November 25th from 5 to 7 pm at McKenzie Brewing at 590 Pearl Street, where writing materials will be provided to anyone who wishes to write a note to be delivered to the 4J staff member.
