Winchester Bay Area Road Construction

The Umpqua Dunes Access Improvement Project is scheduled for August 25 through December 10, 2025. This is a road improvement project taking place on Salmon Harbor Drive in Douglas County near Winchester Bay. The work will start near the Marina in front of the Windy Cove RV Park and Campground and extend to the dunes access to the north of the Umpqua Dunes Campground. The project will lead to disruptions in traffic, and delays should be expected on Weekdays. No work will be performed on Labor Day Weekend, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, or the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
