Grants for Oregon Cultural History through 10/2
The Oregon Heritage Commission offers grants for the conservation, development, and interpretation of Oregon’s cultural heritage.
Awards typically are between $3,000 and $20,000. The grant application deadline is October 2, 2025, submitted online.
Projects may include exhibits, oral history projects, public education events, preserving collections and archives, films and theatrical performances, teaching traditional practices, public history interpretation, and organizational planning that supports heritage resources.
Register HERE for a free online workshop on application preparation on Tuesday, August 19th from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Registration includes access to a recording of the event for two weeks following the workshop.
Oregon Heritage Plan goals are to include traditionally silenced voices, to increase community engagement, to share the economic, cultural, and educational value of heritage, and to pursue best practices in sustainable heritage preservation.
