Soups and Breads Class

OSU Lane County Extension Master Food Preservers will be offering a class on making your own soups from scratch along with a variety of quick and easy breads. The perfect comfort foods for a quick and low cost winter meal. The class will cover several different kinds of soup, basic ingredients, seasonings as well as making your own bone broth. To go along with the soup you will learn tips on making easy breads. There will be some hands on activities and lots of sampling.
The class will be held on Saturday, January 13 from 10 am – 1:30 pm at the Community of Christ Church 1385 Gilham Rd. in Eugene.
This is the first in a series of three winter classes offered by OSU Extension Master Food Preservers. Other classes include

March 3 Creating Quick and Easy Meals from Your Food Pantry and Freezer
Cost is $35 per person per class. A special class discount is being offered of $75.00 if you register for all three classes or two or more from one family $25.00 each/class.
